Tibby Oliver to make most of their jars and bottles from sustainable sugarcane by 2020
British Skincare manufacturer Tibby Olivier's high ambitions for its sustainability program: by 2020, the company intends to manufacture most of its products and packaging using environmentally friendly materials or recycled sources.
In 2019, the company took its first step towards these goals by introducing it's Shrinking Violet Body Wrap Film made of plant-based materials. The company announced the introduction of sustainability. This is a product we have had our eye on since 2006 but found the cost of import far to high to pass on to our therapists, salons & spas, now we have a UK manufacturer we are beyond thrilled.
Tibby Olivier's new Shrinking Violet Body Wrap Film is 98% made from sugar cane.
"At the Tibby Olivier Group we want to make a positive impact on the world around us, and are working hard to make great beauty products for beauty salons, spas & beauty therapists using sustainable materials."
Here at the Tibby Olivier Group we are committed to sustainability. Our bottles are produced using ethanol from the waste of sugarcane as opposed to conventional polymers, which traditionally contain fossil-based raw materials such as oil or natural gas. Some of our new product ranges launching shortly will also see the return of our beautiful biophotonic Violet glass, which is fully recyclable and refillable. #PlasticFree #Sustainability
